"Malibu"
Cover Art Design
"Malibu" is a single by Virginia to Vegas featuring the DJ duo NOTD. We collaborated to create an artwork that captured a sun-soaked Malibu aesthetic with contemporary design elements.
The Process
The original art concept aimed for a playful, colorful, and trippy illustration that featured elements from the lyrics before we pivoted to a much simpler and cleaner direction. We sought after a look that better communicated the feel-good energy of this summery single.
